Shoutouts are what make Nectar so sweet! A shoutout is a post to your company's home-page that includes a sender and a receiver! Here's some questions you may be having:
What are the requirements to send a shoutout?
Nectar requires you to shout out at least 1 person, and to include at least 1 Core Value for a shoutout! Points are not required, but highly recommended, as your giveable points expire at the end of each month!
When you are sending a shoutout, you can choose to type out your message including the @username of the receiver, the #CoreValue, and the +points you want, like so:
You can always use the checkboxes at the bottom of the shoutout box to see what all you've included in your shoutout, as shown in the above screenshot! You'll also notice there are options for adding Emojis, Badges, Images, and GIF's!
What can I do once a shoutout is posted?
Users & Managers
As a User or Manager in the system, you can comment on others' shoutouts, or on your own as well. Any points included in comments will be calculated into the sum of the points at the top of the shoutout.
You can also edit your shoutout.
Please note: only text can be edited. Names, points, and values cannot be edited or changed. If you wish to Delete your shoutout, click the ellipses (3 dots) in the top right corner of your shoutout, and choose "Delete Shoutout"
You can only delete your own shoutouts.

You can also Report a shoutout, as shown above, if you feel there is anything not work appropriate that you need to let your administrator know about.
Administrators
As an Administrator, you have the same abilities with your own shoutouts, as above. With other users' shoutouts, you can choose to hide them from the leaderboard, or delete the shoutout:
