Shoutouts Report

This article talks about Nectar's new Shoutouts Report and what data you can find in this report.

  • The Shoutouts Report is a new Analytics page that gives you deeper insights into your shoutout data.

  • To view the Shoutouts Reports, you will navigate to the Admin settings on the left hand side of Nectar, then go to Analytics > Shoutouts.

  • Once you are on the Shoutouts Report, you will see several different sets of data:

    • # of Shoutouts Sent

    • % of Users Receiving Shoutouts

    • % of Users Sending Shoutouts

    • # of users who Haven't Received Shoutouts

    • # of Shoutouts by Department

    • % of Core values used in shoutouts

🌟 Please note: The data displayed is dependent on the date range you have set in the top right corner of the page.

  • Additionally, the data can be filtered by Office Location or Department.

  • You can also download the data as a CSV or PDF.

  • The top four reports can also be viewed further by clicking the View Details button.

    • Below is a breakdown of each of those reports.


Shoutouts Sent

  • In this report, you will see a running 12 months bar graph of # of shoutouts sent by month.

  • You can hover over each month to see the exact number of shoutouts counted.

  • You can filter this data by Office Location and Department, and you can Download the graph as a PDF.

Shoutouts Sent Breakdown

  • Scrolling down, you will see the Shoutouts Breakdown. This data will be dependent on the date range you have selected. You will see a breakdown of:

    • # of Shoutouts Sent

    • % of Users Sending

    • # of Points Given

  • Additionally, you will also see the list of the Shoutouts Sent in the selected date range. For each line you can view:

    • Sender

    • Receiver (if there is a ... +2 (or another number), that means there is more than one receiver)

    • Shoutout Message

    • Date Sent

    • # of points given in the shoutout

  • When clicking on the shoutout, you can see an expanded version of the Shoutout Message and all the Shoutout Receivers (if there are more than one).

  • You can search for Sender or Receiver to see a smaller list.

  • This data can also be Downloaded to CSV.


Users Receiving Shoutouts

  • In this report, you will see a running 12 months line graph of % of users receiving shoutouts by month.

  • You can hover over each month to see the exact % for each month.

  • You can filter this data by Office Location and Department, and you can Download the graph as a PDF.

Users Receiving Breakdown

  • Scrolling down, you will see the Users Receiving Breakdown. This data will be dependent on the date range you have selected. You will see a breakdown of:

    • # of Users Receiving Shoutouts

    • % of Users Receiving Shoutouts

    • # of Points Received

    • # of Users who haven't Received Shoutouts.

  • Additionally, you will also see a list of all Users. For each line you can view:

    • Name of the Receiver

    • Department

    • Role in Nectar

    • Office Location

    • Date of last Received Shoutout

    • and # of Shoutouts Received

  • When clicking on the Shoutouts column number, you will see the shoutouts the selected user received. You will see:

    • Shoutout Sender Name

    • Points Received

    • Date the shoutout was sent

  • You can search for individual to find their data on the list.

  • This data can also be Downloaded to CSV.


Users Sending Shoutouts

  • In this report, you will see a running 12 months line graph of % of users sending shoutouts by month.

  • You can hover over each month to see the exact % for each month.

  • You can filter this data by Office Location and Department, and you can Download the graph as a PDF.

Users Sending Breakdown

  • Scrolling down, you will see the Users Sending Breakdown. This data will be dependent on the date range you have selected. You will see a breakdown of:

    • # of Users Sending Shoutouts

    • % of Users Sending Shoutouts

    • # of Shoutouts Sent

    • # of Users who haven't Sent Shoutouts.

  • Additionally, you will also see a list of all Users. For each line you can view:

    • Name of the Sender

    • Department

    • Role in Nectar

    • Office Location

    • Date of last Sent Shoutout

    • and # of Shoutouts Sent

  • When clicking on the Shoutouts column number, you will see the shoutouts the selected user sent. You will see:

    • Shoutout Receiver Name

    • Points Received

    • Date the shoutout was sent

  • You can search for individual to find their data on the list.

  • This data can also be Downloaded to CSV.


Haven't Received Shoutouts

  • In this report, you will see the list of users who haven't received shoutouts in the selected date range. In the list you will see:

    • User's name

    • Department

    • Role in Nectar

    • Office Location

    • Date of their last received shoutout

    • and # of days since their last received shoutout

  • When clicking on the three dots to the far right of user line, you have two options to:

    • Send the User a Shoutout

    • or Alert their Manager

  • When Alerting the Manager, you will get to select how they are notified. You can select to notify them either through Email or sending them a Notification to their Nectar alerts (the bell icon on the Home page).

  • There is a default message which you can then add an additional message to before sending.

  • Once you are ready, you will click Send Alert to notify the Manager.
