Video Overview
Common Login Issues and Causes
SSO (Single Sign-On) Mismatch: If your company uses SSO for authentication, any mismatch between the employee's SSO profile and their Nectar information can prevent successful login. Ensure that the data in the SSO system matches the information stored in Nectar. Work with your IT team to confirm the profile matches.
Inactive or Unregistered Account: It's possible that the employeeâs Nectar account is inactive or that they're attempting to use an unregistered email address. Confirm you have been invited, the account status with your company admin and ensure that the correct email linked to the Nectar account is being used.
Email Address Errors or Typos: Discrepancies like a missing or extra letter in the email address can cause issues. Double-check the email address for typos or errors to ensure it matches the registered information in Nectar.
Resolving SSO and Email Mismatches
Verify that the employee's SSO profile data matches the information in Nectar. Sometimes, delays in syncing new employee information before their start date can lead to login problems.
If using an alternate email address to register the account, ensure the employee is logging in with the correct registered address.
First-Time Login Troubleshooting Steps
If this is the first time you or your employee is trying to access Nectar:
Check that the email address being used matches the one linked to the Nectar account.
Reset the password or resend the invitation email if necessary. This ensures the account holder has the proper credentials.
If You Havenât Received the Invitation Email:
Confirm that your employer has sent the invitation. Check spam or junk mail folders.
If no email is found, contact your internal HR team or company administrators and request a new invitation.
If the Invitation Link is Expired or Invalid:
Some email links may expire after a certain period. Use any available prompts within the email to request a new link.
If the issue persists, reach out to your internal support team for assistance.
Tip: You can reset your password anytime from the login page unless your company uses SSO.
