How do I view Engagement Survey results?

Once your Engagement Survey closes, results are available in real time under the Analytics and Responses tabs. These tools help you:

  • Understand how engaged your employees are

  • Identify what’s driving or hurting engagement

  • Spot areas for action or follow-up

What does the Analytics tab show?

The Analytics tab is your main dashboard for high-level results. It includes your company’s Engagement Score, historical Trendline, Pillar breakdowns, and survey participation metrics.

Engagement Score

Your Engagement Score is a single number (out of 100) based on the six core engagement questions. It reflects the favorability rate — the percentage of respondents who selected Agree or Strongly Agree.

Engagement Trendline

See how your Engagement Score has changed over time. Each point represents a past survey.

Tip: Watch for trends. A steady climb is a good sign; a sudden dip may point to changes worth investigating.

Overview tab

The Overview section of the Analytics tab gives a snapshot of survey participation, top-level scores, and performance across key engagement themes.

Survey Summary Cards

  • Completed Surveys: Total number of responses

  • Start Rate: % who opened the survey

  • Completion Rate: % who finished the survey

  • Avg. Time to Complete: Average time to submit responses

Tip: Low completion rates can signal survey fatigue or bad timing.

Engagement Pillars

Each engagement theme (e.g., Leadership, Recognition, Growth) is shown with a favorability score.

All themes appear, even those with limited responses.

Things Going Well & Opportunities for Improvement

These sections highlight your highest and lowest-scoring questions. Use these to:

  • Celebrate 1–2 strengths

  • Identify 1–2 areas to improve

Tip: Keep insights simple and actionable when sharing with teams.

Heatmap tab

The Heatmap helps you compare engagement across different groups (like departments or locations). Each cell shows a favorability score for a specific Pillar and group.

How to read the Heatmap

  • Rows: Departments or locations

  • Columns: Engagement Pillars

  • Cells: Favorability score for that group + theme

  • Colors: Green = high favorability; red = low

Tip: Look for red rows to find underperforming groups.

Grouping and Filtering

  • Group by Department or Location

  • Filter to focus on specific areas

Sorting

Tip: Sort by lowest scores first to quickly identify risk areas.
