Custom Rewards are rewards created by your company and fulfilled outside of Nectar’s standard Reward options. Nectar tracks the status of these rewards so you know who received what.
Note: Nectar does not fulfill Custom Rewards. This feature is for tracking purposes only.
Where do I approve Custom Rewards?
If you’re an admin:
Go to Workspace Settings > Rewards > Manage
If you’re a manager:
Go to Approvals > Rewards
You’ll see a list of Custom Rewards that have been submitted.
Admins can view all pending claims
Managers can view claims where they are the Reward Admin
What do the Manage tabs mean?
You’ll see four tabs that track the status of each reward:
Pending
These are submitted Custom Rewards waiting for approval from a Reward Admin.
Click Yes to approve the reward
→ The request moves to the To Fulfill tabClick No to reject the reward
→ The employee is refunded their points and notified via email
→ The request moves to the Refunded tab
To Fulfill
These rewards have been approved but not yet fulfilled.
Click the checkbox after you’ve provided the reward to the employee
→ The request moves to the Fulfilled tabClick Refund to reject the claim
→ The employee is refunded their points and notified via email
→ The request moves to the Refunded tab
Note: Once you take action on a request (approve or reject), it cannot be undone. The employee would need to submit a new claim if needed.
Fulfilled
A history of all Custom Rewards that have been fulfilled.
Refunded
A history of all Custom Rewards that were rejected and refunded.
