How to Activate
After you complete your redemption in Nectar, you’ll get an email containing details about your new gift card.
Click on the redemption URL in that email to open a new page to start activating your card.
Enter the code listed in your email and follow the registration steps on the site.
Once complete, you may be able to select a virtual card or a physical card.
Please Note: There's a $3.00 shipping and processing fee that is deducted from your card's balance when a reward is redeemed for a physical prepaid card.
You will be asked to provide your name, address, email, and phone number to be associated with your Visa or Mastercard.
Note that your address will also be used for verification purposes if you use it online and can be edited by clicking on the original redemption link you received via email or by logging into your My Payment Vault account.
Your card details will appear on the screen as a virtual card or a confirmation of your physical card order will be emailed to you.
Please note that not every program offers a physical Visa or Mastercard option!
Issues Activating your prepaid card
It doesn’t happen very often, but if you run into any issues activating your card, you can try some of the troubleshooting steps below!
Clear cache and cookies and then try activating your gift card again.
If you’re using a computer then try activating your card with a different web browser.
If your computer is connected to a VPN, then try disconnecting from it and activating the card again.
If your web browser supports it, try redeeming with a private or “incognito” window or tab.
If you are using a mobile device then try switching to a laptop or personal computer.
If you're on a mobile device, try disconnecting from your Wi-Fi and using your network's internet connection instead.
❗ Your gift card redemption will be associated with the email connected to your Nectar account. Nectar is unable to switch the email associated with the gift card once it has been redeemed. If you need your email updated before redemption please contact your company admin(s).
