Can I filter the Home Feed?

Use filters to quickly find shoutouts relevant to your team, office, or direct reports.

How do the filters work?

To filter your home feed activity, go to Home and under the shoutout box there is a Filter button.

You can filter for several different properties including:

  • Activity Type

  • Department

  • Office Location

  • Values (core values)

  • and Custom Properties

Custom Properties are set up by your company admins and will vary depending on what information they have added.

e.g: there could be a Custom Property filter for Job Title, Manager, Manager type etc.

Important functions:

  • Filters apply to the current information of the sender or recipient.

Example: If someone changed departments, their new department will be used in the filter—even for older shoutouts.

  • When you select multiple filters, shoutouts will only appear if one person involved (sender or recipient) matches all selected filters.

Example: If you filter by Department = Technology AND Office Location = Utah, the shoutout must include at least one person who is both in Technology and located in Utah.
