The Individual Budget analytics page gives you a detailed look at how points have been redeemed from a specific budget. It includes:

  • Total spend

  • Internal vs. external redemptions

  • User-level activity

  • Search and filter tools

This view is helpful for analyzing how a single program or department’s budget is performing over time.

Use this when you want to zoom in on one budget’s activity and understand what’s driving redemption trends.

When should I use Individual Budget analytics?

Common use cases include:

  • A department leader reviewing how their team’s budget is used

  • Preparing ROI summaries or end-of-quarter reporting

  • Analyzing redemption patterns by budget

  • Comparing financial vs. non-financial recognition within a budget

  • Supporting budget strategy or program redesigns

How do I access Individual Budget analytics?

  1. Go to Admin → Analytics

  2. Click the Budgets tab

  3. In the Individual Budget Totals section, click any Budget Tile

  4. You’ll land on that budget’s Redemptions page

What does the Budget Summary show?

At the top of the page, you’ll see a summary card with:

Total Dollars Redeemed

  • Shows the total points and dollar value redeemed from this budget

  • Tracks redemption progress against the budget’s total allocation

  • Dynamically updates based on:

    • Date range

    • Redemption type (All, External, Internal)

This provides a high-level snapshot of how much budget has been used.

How do the redemption filters work?

You can toggle between three views:

  • All – Displays all redemptions, both internal and external

  • External – Shows redemptions with real company costs (e.g., gift cards, swag, marketplace)

Total Dollars Redeemed updates to reflect external spend only.

  • Internal – Shows redemptions with no financial cost (e.g., custom rewards, internal fulfillment)

These are marked with an Internal Redemption label.

What’s included in the redemption table?

The table displays every transaction tied to the selected budget. Columns include:

  • Date – When the redemption occurred

  • User – Who redeemed the points

  • Email – The user’s email

  • Item Type – Type of reward redeemed

  • Item Total – Full value of the redemption

  • Budget Used – Amount taken from this specific budget

If a redemption used multiple budgets, the "Budget Used" amount may be lower than the Item Total (due to First In, First Out (FIFO) logic).

Can I filter or search within this data?

Yes! Use the filters and search tools to narrow results.

Search by:

  • Budget Name – Shows all redemptions that include the searched budget

Redemptions using multiple budgets will still appear if the selected one was included.

Filter by:

  • Item Type

  • Specific user

  • Date range

  • Redemption type (internal vs. external)

Pagination and rows-per-page controls help navigate large data sets.

Can I export redemption data?

Yes. Click Download in the top-right corner to export redemption activity for:

  • Finance reconciliation

  • Program reporting

  • Leadership updates

  • Team-level accountability

Download options match those available in the All Budgets view.
